Americans Spend $350 Per Year On Beer

Some people might assume that Germany would top the list for spending the most money on beer annually, but they actually fell short of the U.S. According to the FinancesOnline infrographic, Germans spend just $235 on beer annually.

Surprisingly, Australia topped the list as spending the most money on beer annually. The average Australian spends about $747.90 on the frothy beer — a significant jump from the U.S. $356.  Ireland isn’t too far behind either, spending $688 on beer per year. Why do these countries spend so much on beer? There’s no easy answer to this question. Perhaps it’s a combination of prices, available, and the simple fact that their cultures love to drink.
